Collegiate Cycling Road Race

Christine sent this inspiring image in: "Here is a picture of my boyfriend (holding up the peace sign!) during a collegiate cycling road race in Reno, NV last spring. He raced for UC Berkeley (go bears!). He is vegan, and finished 6th out of 30. He told me that one of his biggest motivators is showing people that vegans can be great athletes too, busting the image of sickly, pale/anemic celery-munching vegetarians that so many people seem to have. I think he's doing a great job of it!"

44 yo and 50 yo women with new cycling habit

Sheri writes, "We love to cycle, and just competitive enough to urge each other on. This picture is of our first metric century ride in May - we loved it and are looking for more challenges!"

It's a beautiful summer weekend -- what healthy fun are you planning?

Car-Lite Living

Attached is a photo of my wife Michael riding home on one of our local bike trails. We own and operate a blog on transportational cycling titled EcoVelo."
